Hip Hop Lists

I'm sure as hip-hop fans, we've encountered lists. A main one we've all come across is the 'Greatest MC of all time' list where everyone fights over whether Biggie or Tupac were THAT good and if Jay-Z actually belongs in the top 10.

However, in my normal icy ventures I found a site that has lists that makes my mouth water. I am of course obsessed with bling for the fact that I'm happy Hip-Hop spawned it. I give major props to Lil Wayne for getting the term 'Bling Bling' is massive popularity [though contrary to his own beliefs he did not invent this phrase as the previously mentioned Tupac Shakur says it on the Until the end of Time album in the song "F--- Friends" - 'Check out my diamond b---h, everyone go bling - bling' though released in 2001 was obviously recorded before his untimely demise in 1996]

Now lets move forward from that history lesson, back to my original point of lists. A new site I discovered after valiantly typing multiple addresses into my internet explorer browser is HipHopJewelry.Info the lister of all listee's if you will. This glorious hunk of cyber-space opens up with a list of Genuine Diamond Iced out Watches, and then lets you fly through its hallways to other lists of the ever so popular CZ watches, pendants, diamond pendants and more. All in a non-intrusive, no sales page, kind of way that I've only found here.

The guys over there aren't overly concerned about sales it seems, as there is no 'in your face' marketing, no email lists to sign up, no coupon codes, none of the normal hype you might find elsewhere. Nope. They've created a site, that while plain looking in design unlocks a vast array of independant sellers, buyers, and onlookers on what Hip-Hop prizes as its most valuable possession. Bling.

If I were you, I'd shoot there now just to take a peek. Matter of fact, I'll meet you there as I'm heading back right now. Just click it - HipHopJewelry.Info

Ballin!

The term 'Ballin' has forever been immortalized by Jim Jones, the MOB Dipset Capo whos 'We Fly high' captivated the hood. Luckily the term is defined completely by its user. Example - You are driving a '93 corsica and your friends got a 2004 Honda Civic you could be hatin like 'oh that dudes ballin son thats why he got that car'.

Now with Jim Jones ever increasing popularity in hip hop his unique style has been brought to the masses.

Such as the Skull and Crossbones design to my left. Which is now a staple of Hip Hop Jewelry [photo courtesy of http://www.icedout.info] They have incorporated such styles into belt buckles, jean chains, pendants, shoe tags and everything. Goin straight bananas on this design and variations of it! But hey Jimmy stay fly son and you gots to too or the girls are gonna just pass you by.

You should also be on the look out for Juelz Santanas clothing line RoyElz and Jim Jones clothing line which are both set to blast off later this year [2008].

Now only if these iced out watches / jewelry sites would get me an advance on some clothes from these guys maybe I'd have some justification for blogging about this industry [hint hint guys....hook it up!]

See you guys later this week as I figure out other trends particular hip hop artists inspired, besides the logo jewelry that is obvious to all.

Hip Hop Trends

As time goes on, so do hip hop trends especially when it comes to jewelry. Lets of course be certain hip hop jewelry, as an overall trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. The movement incorporates jewelry almost the way the media says 'low class, middle class, high class' we say 'sterling silver, gold, white gold, platinum'. If you know what I mean...

With the general cost of Genuine Diamond Hip Hop Jewelry getting lower (see: http://www.icedoutwatches.net) as are the prices of our good friend Cubic Zirconia or 'fake ice' as we say. Sure it might not be the real thing, but some of us might actually be putting money aside or have bigger bills than same of y'all. So as the prices of our 'fake ice' hip hop jewelry counterparts fall (see http://www.icedout.info) we come to a place where everyone can get their shine on and keep their pockets fat.

I included links to 2 websites in here, that I visit damn near everyday so follow them and let me know what you think.

I'm gonna be back tomorrow to show you some of the latest styles that are rockin the place on the West coast and the stuff thats kickin it still on the East coast and y'all make the decision on which is hotter.

Peace up!

Hip Hop Jewelry - The Latest

The fourth quarter of 2007 has been an eye-opener for the hip hop jewelry industry. We've seen relative newcomers, in the form of jewelry designers, storm the frontlines and take marketshare like never done before. Designers like Ice Time, Joe Rodeo, KC Techomaster has come in over the past year and showed everyone that Genuine Diamond watches weren't just for the hip hop elite but everyone could afford one. Bringing prices for a 1ct. diamond watch down from $2,000-$4000 to $350-$700. The quality - top of the line and the price can not be beat. Joints to check for are the Joe Rodeo Classic Collection, Jojino collection and JoJo Line. Also Ice Time signature series are AMAZING. KC Techno will pick up the slack running in with some amazing floating diamond designs that do nothing but make the whole block stare.

http://www.icedoutwatches.net/ currently has the entire line of each of these companies featured with an easy to use comparison shopping feature so you can get the biggest bling for your buck!
